Michelle is an Executive Director and shareholder of Mulberry Insurance Brokers PCC, playing a central role in the leadership, governance and strategic development of the business.
Since joining Mulberry in 2022, she has taken on an increasingly strategic role, working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to set business priorities, strengthen operational capabilities and support the firm’s long‑term growth trajectory.
As Executive Director, Michelle oversees key areas of the business including financial management, operational oversight, people strategy and corporate governance. She is instrumental in translating Mulberry’s strategic objectives into effective execution, ensuring the organisation maintains the financial and operational foundations required for sustainable expansion.
Michelle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta. Her academic and professional background provides a strong grounding in financial management, governance, strategic planning and the commercial disciplines required to lead a regulated financial services business.
Before joining Mulberry, Michelle built extensive experience within the professional services sector. She spent more than seven years with a mid‑tier audit and advisory firm, progressing to General Manager and shareholder, and previously worked for four years with another established audit firm, gaining broad exposure across multiple industries.
At Mulberry, Michelle works closely with Ivan and the wider senior management team on the strategic evolution of the firm. She has played a key role in strengthening the organisation’s management structure, developing its people and operational capabilities, and supporting Mulberry’s transition into Mulberry Insurance Brokers PCC.
Michelle’s combination of financial expertise, commercial judgement and executive leadership continues to be integral to Mulberry’s development. Her focus remains on building a strong, scalable and well‑governed organisation capable of supporting the firm’s ambitions in Malta and internationally.
