Chris is a highly experienced insurance professional with more than 35 years of experience across the Maltese insurance industry, bringing extensive technical, commercial and leadership expertise to Mulberry Insurance Brokers PCC.
Having started his insurance career in 1991, Chris has developed considerable expertise across a broad range of insurance disciplines, with particular experience in Commercial, Marine, Reinsurance, Engineering and Construction risks. His extensive market knowledge and technical background enable him to understand complex client exposures and contribute to the development of appropriate and commercially effective insurance solutions.
Prior to joining Mulberry, Chris spent more than three decades with a leading Maltese insurance company, where he progressed through a number of senior positions before being appointed General Manager in 2015. In that capacity, he gained significant executive management experience and was involved in the strategic, operational and regulatory management of the business.
Throughout his career, Chris has built longstanding relationships across the Maltese insurance market and developed a strong understanding of the needs of corporate and commercial clients. His combination of technical insurance knowledge, management experience and established market relationships provides an important contribution to Mulberry’s continued development.
Chris joined Mulberry in 2022 and today serves as Business Development Executive, working closely with the firm’s leadership and broking teams to develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships and support the continued expansion of Mulberry’s corporate and commercial portfolio.
Chris holds the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). His combination of technical insurance knowledge, analytical capability, his extensive industry experience and relationship-led approach further strengthen Mulberry’s ability to provide clients with experienced, professional advice while supporting the firm’s continued growth in Malta and internationally.
